We are beyond proud to announce that the 11th International Book Fair New Jersey 2027 (FILNJ) will be dedicated to Jael Uribe.
Since 2009, Jael has been a relentless force in global literature, pioneering projects that amplify female voices and champion the fight against violence toward women and girls. This prestigious dedication honors decades of her unwavering commitment through the International Women Poets Movement (Mujeres Poetas Internacional) and the Woman Scream International Festival (Grito de Mujer).
Under her leadership, Jael has woven a global tapestry of activists, artists, and institutions across 70 countries. She has proven that poetry and art are not merely aesthetic; they are vital instruments of resistance, bridges to justice, and sacred sanctuaries for those who need them most.
We celebrate this well-deserved tribute to a woman who has transformed cultural management into a profound act of courage and unconditional love.
