Día del Padre | Father’s Day | Por Jael Uribe

Una niña aspira ser como su súper héroe favorito. Ese que la llevó del brazo para mostrarle el camino a una vida de valores, quien le mostró el color de los libros y la importancia de llevar la frente en alto, viviendo una vida transparente y sin maldad.

Una niña aprendió a ser grande, dentro de su universo pequeño. Aprendió a pintar de verde la medida de sus sueños. 

Una niña, se hace adulta y recuerda los consejos, el ejemplo de quien dió tanto para que ella no se perdiera entre lo común y fuera valiente, decidida, original, diferente. 

Hoy, esa mujer con corazón de niña, mira a su súper héroe de frente y reconoce el amor en su mirada, aún después de tanto tiempo. Mira su foto y sabe que los años se acortan, pero el tiempo no encoge su sonrisa, tan amplia como el océano. 

¡Nada borra el amor de un padre que sigue viendo en la mujer, a la niña que vio crecer, transformarse y volar!

Nada borrará de la mujer con alma de niña la capa que tomó prestada de su papá.

¡Ahora juntos, pueden volar!

Father’s Day 

A girl wants to be like her favorite superhero. The one who held her arm and showed her the way to a life of values, who taught her the color of books and the importance of holding her head high, living a transparent and malice free life.

A girl learned to be big, within her small universe. She learned to paint in green the extent of her dreams.

A girl, has become an adult and she remembers the advice, the example of the one who gave her much, so she didn’t get lost in the ordinary and became brave, determined, original, different.

Today, that woman with a girl’s heart, looks at her superhero in the eyes and recognizes love in them, even after so long. She looks at his photos and she knows that years are shortening, but time does not shrink that smile, as wide as the ocean.

Nothing erases the love of a father who continues to see in the woman, that girl he saw growing up, transforming and flying!

Nothing will erase from the woman with a girl’s soul, the cape that she once borrowed from her dad.

Now together, they can fly!
